Flytraps are dormant so they will be small, condensed rosettes. Sarracenia are also dormant and resume growth in Spring.

Byblis (Rainbow Plant) Care Guide

Posted by Vincent Green on

This is a General Byblis (Rainbow Plant) Care Guide - it will be updated later for specific species.

Water:

Distilled, Reverse Osmosis, Rain or water with TDS under 50.

Keep media moist, the pot can sit in water so as to need little maintenance.

Light:

Medium light, these plants should receive around 10 hours of bright light.

Plant should be constantly growing

Temp:

These plants are annuals that need to be kept in tropical conditions to stay perennial, as such should be kept above 65 degrees.

Media:

Pure Long Fiber Sphagnum Moss (LFSM), LFSM + Perlite or Peat + Perlite.

I prefer LFSM + Perlite for Byblis.
