Water: Distilled, Reverse Osmosis, Rain or water with TDS under 100. Keep media moist, the pot can sit in water so as to need little maintenance. Light: High light, these plants should receive around 8+ hours of direct sunlight. Leaves should  stand straight up, be fully inflated and be strong. If they do not have this they may not be receiving enough light. Purpurea and psittacina obviously won't have upright pitchers as they grow outward.
